Local Partnership Grant

Do you have a community event?  You may qualify for a Local Partnership Grant up to $500.00.  Download the application.  All applications will be considered bi-monthly.  There are 6 bi-monthly Tourism Council Meetings on the second Tuesday of February, April, June, August, October and December.  Applications must be received at least two one week prior to a scheduled tourism council meeting.

Central Congregational Church

This imposing Richardsonian Romanesque church building, constructed in 1898 of dark red sandstone transported from Michigan, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has a number of magnificent rose windows, and is located on the site of the “Old First Church”— founded by the original settlers who came here with George Washington Gale to start a religious community and college.
